The Resurrection Behind the Mission
In May 2019, I didn't just become a patient; I became a statistic. After a PAD diagnosis led to a heart attack, a stroke, and life support, I was eventually placed in hospice. But I didn’t stop there. I rose up as a double amputee with a "feisty" spirit and a mission to ensure no one else is abandoned by the healthcare system. I founded QUOTE ~UN ~QUOTE INSPIRES to change the world one roll at a time.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
Shemika Jackson founded QUOTE ~UN ~QUOTE INSPIRES in 2023 after navigating a brutal, life-altering battle with Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). Her journey began in May 2019, leading to tremendous medical suffering—including a heart attack, a stroke, life support placement, and eventually an evaluation for hospice care.
Despite every impossible barrier laid in front of her, Shemika rose up, survived, and adapted to life as a proud double amputee. Known by everyone who meets her as fiercely feisty and completely full of life, she refuses to let physical limitations slow down her purpose.
Today, she uses her triumphant survival story to motivate and inspire others to keep moving forward, bypass systemic gaps in medical coverage, and choose to live entirely without regret.
